St. Francis Xavier Award was established in 2003 and strongly desired by the Committee to remind citizens that Tessanesi were an example of morality, love for their land, a symbol of Culture .... then citizens to imitate!
In 2006, the Committee decided to extend the award beyond its walls tessanesi and from this year (with an evening special) the Committee decided to reward not only a character but also in other regions.
